Join oCUBE to experience the full range of benefits of our community. 

Anyone interested in sharing and promoting best practices for supporting educators and students in post-secondary biology education (universities, colleges) is eligible to join oCUBE. Members are able to run for Executive and Standing Committee positions, vote (for members of Executive and Standing Committees, as well as at oCUBE Meetings), and have access to membership only resources. We have worked to keep the costs of membership low such that membership is an affordable option to all who want to join

There are four types of paid membership available—all of which are full, equal memberships with voting privileges: Full-time faculty and staff; Sessional/Adjunct Instructors and Postdoctoral Fellows; Graduate Students; and Undergraduate students. Undergraduates may also join as a non-voting member for no cost. 

Although you can join at any time, renewals of membership are payable by May 1 of each year. Memberships lapse if not renewed via payment within 30 days. 

For those individuals wishing to switch from the regular "Full-time faculty and staff" to "Supporting", the ability to change memberships will be available after May 1, 2025.  If a member wants to change their membership level while they are in Pending renewal status, they must first cancel their pending membership renewal.
