2021 December (Un)Conference

The online 2021 December oCUBE (Un)Conference is open to anyone with an interest in higher education in biology. It is free to register and will be held via Zoom! *But don't expect to sit on the sidelines and watch people present (that's not how these events work!); be prepared to be actively engaged throughout the day!

Preliminary program:

• 9:30 am - 10:00 am - Welcome!

• 10:00 am - 11:00 am - Workshop - Balancing Flexibility and Rigour to Support Student Success with facilitators Dr. Carie Cardamone and Dr. Heather Dwyer, Tufts University Center for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching  

• 11:00 am - 12:00 pm - Interactive reflective session on inclusion/flexibility and academic rigour

• 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm - LUNCH break

• 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm - pitched sessions

MORNING: In the morning of Dec. 17 we'll have a workshop on "Balancing Flexibility and Rigour to Support Student Success ?" with some follow-up breakout sessions. 

AFTERNOON: The afternoon will be the oCUBEr generated sessions you've come to know and love  at our (Un)Conferences. Pitching will be open Dec. 6–10. Voting for pitched topics will be open Dec 11–14. Registration is open up to, and including, the day of the event. Looking forward to seeing you on the 17th!
