The Integrative Biology Department at the University of Windsor is seeking a sessional instructor to teach BIOL 2101 (Ecology) in Fall 2023.
Course description: Introduction to the fundamental concepts of ecology including factors affecting species distribution, reproductive strategies, population growth and regulation, species interactions, and community level organization and energetics. (Prerequisites: BIOL-1111 and BIOL-1101.) (3 lecture, 3 laboratory/discussion hours a week.)
Lecture: Tu Th 11:30am-12:50pm (taught in-person). Labs are also in person, led by GAs/TAs.
Applications are to be submitted on or before August 18, 2023, by 3:00 PM.
Applicants who have not previously taught courses in the Department of Integrative Biology are asked to submit:
1. A full C.V.
2. A teaching dossier
Applicants from outside the University of Windsor will be expected to provide three letters of reference.
