The College of New Caledonia in Prince George BC is looking to hire a sessional instructor with post-secondary teaching experience in Microbiology and Cell Biology. The term of employment will be Fall 2023- Spring 2024 (August 2023 - May 2024). You must have at minimum, an MSc in Biology to apply for this position.

Candidates will be expected to facilitate lecture- AND laboratory- based course delivery. A typical full-time contract in the CNC Biology Department will require 15-17 student contact hours per week, divided between one lecture, and one to two laboratory teaching assignments. Your teaching assignments will likely include courses other than Microbiology and Cell Biology.
The Microbiology offerings you will be expected to teach include a Basic Microbiology course (BIO 105) for the Nursing program and a General Microbiology course (BIO 215) for the Associate of Science (University Transfer) program. The Cell Structure (BIO 201) course which may be assigned to you is an introductory cell biology course. All of these courses have accompanying laboratory components.
